This is a prime example of the advantages of traveling in a 4x4 with a relatively light load compared to the conventional camper. A little determination and exploration found us marvelling at this idyllic camp site, a peaceful bay that we had all to ourselves. The only people we saw for the four days we stayed here were the pangueros (fishermen) in a lone panga that would come by every morning. There was a great boat wreck by the sea-cliffs near the middle of the photo, which provided a great snorkeling spot. The water here was so calm, at times, it seemed like a big swimming pool. At night you could barely hear the water lapping at the shore. Sharon tried to meet up with some dolphins, and ended up way out in the "deep end" of the pool : )
